Bail and Bondsman Information

 

The Municipal Court sets the bond on individuals placed in the jail on misdemeanor charges. You must call the Municipal Court at 427-7817 to find out the amount of bond, as this information is not available at the jail. Municipal Court is open 24-hours a day to accept bonds. Individuals in the jail on felony charges have their bond set at the time the felony warrant is obtained. Once the warrant is obtained, you may call the jail at 519-4800 to find out the amount of the bond. You may pay either cash bond or arrange for a bonding company. Each bonding company requires a nonrefundable fee. You can obtain the names of the bonding companies in the yellow pages of the telephone book. Officials are not permitted to make recommendations on bonding services.
