DUI Task Force Charge Twenty-three over Weekend

 

Huntsville, Alabama (May 29, 2007) Twenty-three people were arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence, three of them were juveniles.  According to Sgt. Juan Joyner, Task Force supervisor, 3 other people were charged with various drug offenses during the Memorial Day weekend which ran from Friday, May 25, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. through Tuesday May 27, 2007 at 3:30 a.m. A total of 637 people have been charged with DUI so far this year. Other citations over the weekend include;

 

1 -   Minor in Possession of Alcohol

10 - Drivers License violations

4 -   No Drivers License

2 -   Expired tags

12 - No vehicle Insurance

25 - Speeding Violations

11 - Vehicles impounded

2 -   Cited for Window Tint

2 -    Improper Lane usage

5 -    Suspended or Revoked Drivers License
