West Precinct Investigators Make Arrest in La Quinta Inn Robbery

 

Huntsville, Alabama (July 18, 2007) Police in the West Precinct have arrested a suspect in connection with the Monday night robbery of La Quinta Inn on University Drive.

 

Spokesman Wendell Johnson said 19-year-old Tony Elliot Anderson was arrested Tuesday after Police Officers Chris Grubbs and Bryan Guffey spotted a Nissan Altima in a local motel parking lot which matched the description of the suspect’s vehicle. A short time later, Anderson was arrested and charged with 1 count of Robbery 1st degree. Evidence taken from the robbery was also located inside the vehicle. Anderson was booked in the Madison County Metro jail.
