Huntsville Police Make Arrest In Sparkman Drive Shooting

 

Huntsville, Alabama (January 26, 2007) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s West Precinct have charged a 16-year-old from a January 15th shooting at 1505 Sparkman Drive that left a man in critical condition. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said Raphael Jamar Parham of 1303 Forsythe Drive has been charged with one count each of Burglary 1st Degree and Robbery 1st Degree. Although Parham is a juvenile, he is being charged as an adult due to the use of a firearm in connection with the robbery. He was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail.

 

Meanwhile, Montez Holt, the suspect who eluded police in a car and foot chase last Friday is also wanted in connection with the shooting of Greg Armstrong. Warrants were obtained today for Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st degree and Burglary First Degree. These are in addition to other existing warrants on Holt for other offenses. Armstrong remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
