Huntsville Police Arrest Teacher for Counterfeit Items


                     Huntsville, Alabama ( October 21, 2008) On October 20, 2008, Officers of the Huntsville Police Department arrested Milton Tyson, 39 years of age, of Harvest and charged him with Theft of Trade Mark Secrets and Possession of Marijuana. Milton Tyson was arrested as a result of the on-going investigation into the selling of counterfeit merchandise on the campus of Lee High School. Tyson a teacher at Lee High School was found to be in possession of counterfeit merchandise, marijuana, and a loaded pistol when stopped a short distance from the campus of Lee High School. A subsequent search warrant was executed on his residence where additional counterfeit merchandise and records were obtained showing a history of the illegal operation. The Huntsville Police Department has also contacted the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and is investigating possible Federal Firearms Violations resulting from the possession of a firearm on a school campus. Tyson is currently being held in the Metro Jail and bond has been set at 102,500 dollars.
