Huntsville Police Catch Suspects Involved in Possibly 50 Theft Cases

 

Huntsville, Alabama (June 23, 2008) Two men who allegedly sold over fifty stolen air conditioners are in the Madison County Metro Jail today. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said Thomas Jason Gray, age 43, is charged with Theft 1st degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Troy Mack Merrow, age 45, is charged with Theft 1st degree. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said Investigators are looking at more than 50 cases in North and West Huntsville and Madison County where air conditioners were stolen. They allegedly sold AC unit parts to scrap metal businesses in the last several months. Their main target areas were small businesses and churches.
