Huntsville Police Capture Bank Robbery Suspect

 

Huntsville, Alabama (June 23, 2008) Huntsville Police credit citizens for information that led to the arrest of Michael Sellers age 40,  who allegedly robbed the Redstone Federal Credit Union (3501 North Memorial Parkway) on Saturday and the Wal-Mart (6140 University Drive) on Sunday. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said an informant for Madison County District Attorney Investigator Kevin Turner said Sellers could be found at 2131 Evans Avenue. Turner called for assistance by Huntsville Police and caught Sellers at that address. Sellers was in a stolen truck that was used at the Wal-Mart robbery. He was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail on Sunday. Sellers is charged with Robbery 1st degree and Receiving Stolen Property. Additional robbery charges will be filed for the Wal-Mart case.
