Huntsville Police Arrest 5 in String of Car Burglaries

 

 

Huntsville, Alabama (November 16, 2009) Sunday morning Huntsville Police arrested and charged five individuals in a series of car burglaries that have been occurring in the downtown area over the past several months. Patrick Eugene Franklin; age 20, Shamarcus Laquan Suggs; age 18, and three juveniles, ages 16, 15 and 12, all of Huntsville, are charged with two counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle. Two handguns and a small amount of property were recovered. Police are attempting to locate the owners of the property. The cases are still under investigation and additional charges are pending.
