              Optimist Club Honors HPD Officer

                  

                 Huntsville, Alabama (May 12, 2009) Tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Mayfair Church of Christ Fellowship Hall members of six local Optimist Clubs are honoring officers from around the area in their Respect For Law Banquet. Officer Shane Turley, a 3 year veteran of the Huntsville Police Department, has been chosen as one of the recipients of this year’s award. Officer Turley was chosen for his professional dedication and support to the children of this community. The Huntsville Police Department is proud of Officer Turley’s accomplishments and believes he is an example of what a professional police officer should be.
