                      HPD Finds Officer in Policy

          Huntsville, Alabama (May 14, 2009) On Tuesday May 12, 2009, an Incident Review Board convened to examine evidence and hear testimony related to the circumstances surrounding the traffic fatalities that occurred on April 17, 2009, at the intersection of Airport Road and Whitesburg Drive. The board consisted of several members of the Police Departments Staff. Representatives of the Madison County District Attorneys Office and the City of Huntsville City Attorneys Office were also present for the presentation of evidence. After careful review of the evidence the Board concluded that the actions of the Officer were in accordance with Huntsville Police Departments Policies and Procedures. Chief Henry Reyes concurs with the findings and this part of the case is closed.
