Burglary Arrest

Huntsville, Alabama (August 5, 2009) On Tuesday August 4, officers of the Huntsville Police Department’s South Precinct arrested Billy Roy Crews, Jr. (32) of Huntsville for Burglary 3^rd Degree. A witness observed Crews in the garage of a neighbor’s home on Westburg Drive and contacted police. A short time later third shift officers located the suspect’s vehicle. Police recovered property from the burglary and also recovered additional stolen items from Crews’ home. Police are attempting to locate the owners of that property. Crews was placed in the Metro Jail, additional charges are pending. Bail has not been set.
