Suspect Arrested in Homicide
Huntsville, Alabama (March 18, 2010)
On March 18, 2010, Investigators of the Huntsville Police
Department’s Major Crimes Unit arrested 67 y/o Manla Anderson of Huntsville and
charged him with Murder & Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm. This
arrest was the result of an investigation into the murder of Michael Porter, 47
y/o that occurred on March 07, 2010 at 2303 Poplar Ave. in Huntsville. Mr.
Anderson was the father of Mr. Porter. Investigators are still investigating
this incident and further details will be released later. The suspect was booked
in the Madison County Metro Jail awaiting bond.
