Huntsville Police Investigate Fatal Shooting

 

Huntsville, Alabama (October 20, 2006).  Shortly after midnight October 20, 2006, Huntsville Police responded to a call of multiple gunshots fired at 3618 Chasewood Drive. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said once Officers arrived on the scene they observed 3 Hispanic males (ages 20-25) who were injured. One injured individual was transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment, another male refused medical treatment.

Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit say the shooting followed an earlier argument in which the windows were broken out of a vehicle. Names of all of the individuals, including a male who died from a gunshot wound to the head are being withheld pending notification of family members. Johnson said no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed in this incident. However, the investigation is ongoing.
