Huntsville Woman Charged With Murder of Her Husband

 

Huntsville, Alabama (November 21, 2006) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit have charged a 27-year-old woman with the stabbing death of her husband. On Sunday afternoon, November 19, 2006, Huntsville Police responded to 130 Summit Oaks Drive #1514. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said they observed Gevon Davis, also 27-years-old, in the parking lot and they called for medical assistance. He was bleeding from a knife wound. Before he was transported to Huntsville Hospital, Davis stated that he was stabbed by his wife, Hakima Davis, who was present at the scene. After being questioned by Investigators, she was charged with Murder and booked Sunday afternoon into the Madison County Metro Jail. She was released on a $10,000 bond. Mr. Davis died at the Hospital.  This was Huntsville’s 11^th homicide.
