The Records Division maintains criminal history files on anyone arrested by the department, with a current total of 145,800 files. These records must be maintained for 100 years or until the death of the person. In addition, the section maintains all traffic accident reports (approximately 12,000 per year) and all crime reports, which number more than 24,000 a year and 18,000 arrest reports. The Records Division is open to the public:  

Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Case number, or
Date and location of the incident;
Reason for obtaining the report;

Please Allow 72 Hours Processing Time On All Reports

Copies of Case Reports---------$10.00 each
Copies of Accidents Reports----$10.00 each
