The South precinct is located at 7900 Bailey Cove Rd. Huntsville, AL 35802 (256) 213-4500. Commanded by Captain Thomas Presley, the South Precinct is situated in the south-east area of Huntsville on the west side of Bailey Cove, across from Grissom High. The South Precinct Officers patrol an area of approximately 71.3 square miles. Along with regular Patrol Officers, the South Precinct houses our Major Crimes Unit, Crime Scene Unit, and the Domestic Violence Unit.
